The Federal University Oye Ekiti Management has extended the resumption date to Monday, 20th March 2023.
This was made known in a memorandum signed by the University’s Registrar, Prof Mufutau Ibrahim and released on 10th March 2023.
Recall that the previous resumption date was slated for 15th March, 2023, the management has announced a new resumption date due to the postponement of the gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.
“This decision is as a result of the postponement of the Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections which changed from Saturday 11th March to Saturday 18th March 2023 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)” the memo reads.
“There will be an intensive physical revision exercise to prepare students adequately for the forthcoming 2022/2023 first semester examinations which will take place from Tuesday 21st March to Saturday, 25th March 2023. The exercise will be monitored by the university management and supervised by all Deans to ensure strict compliance,” the memo concluded.
