FUOYE Management Extends Scheduled CBT Exams By a Week, Sets Up Investigation Committee

Esther Popoola.

The management of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has extended all Computer-based test exams by a week. This was done after the ugly incident at the ICT centre earlier today.

The extension was announced in a memo released this evening and was signed by Prof. Mufutau Ibrahim. Recall that UCJ FUOYE had earlier published a report on the challenges faced by the students at the ICT centre.

“To this end, all CBT examinations have been postponed for one week or on immediate and interim measures. For the evidence of doubt, all pen-on-paper First Semester Examinations would go on as scheduled, please.

“The Vice-Chancellor has further set up a committee to address all the issues identified in this regard — from planning/scheduling to allegations of extortion made against some security personnel,” the memo reads.
