Ahead of the forthcoming 2020/2021 second semester examination of the Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), the Students’ Union Government, has declared Monday, 14th November, 2022 as a general day for prayers and fasting.
This was made known in a memorandum signed by the union and made available to UCJ FUOYE.
According to the union, the development comes in line with the recommendation of the Students’ Union Religion Advisory Committee to pray against any form of unpredictable circumstances against students before, during, and after the Examination.
The full statement reads:
“In line with the recommendation of the Students’ Union religion advisory committee, Tomorrow, Monday 14th of November, 2022 has been selected as a general day for prayer and fasting.
“This is necessary to pray against any form of unpredictable circumstances against our members before, during, and after this forthcoming Examination.
“We hereby charge you all, in your capacity to join this collective movement.
“It is our prayer that none of our members will be a victim of unfortunate circumstances.
“Thanks for your cooperation and support.”
